1. These terms

These terms apply to Artifex: the Artifex Studio and Artifex Learn websites and the Course Studio app. Artifex is operated by Arbella ("we", "us"). By using Artifex you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. Early testing

Artifex is in early testing. Features may change, pause or stop, and errors are possible. Teachers' computers keep copies of their courses; keep your own copies of anything else that matters to you.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created by an administrator, a school or a teacher. Give accurate information, including your year and month of birth when asked. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

4. Children

A student under 18, or under a higher age where local law requires, may use Artifex only with a guardian's consent. When student accounts arrive, a teacher or school creating a student's account will be asked to confirm that a guardian has agreed.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Artifex to:

• break the law or infringe other people's rights, including copyright: use only material you are allowed to use;
• publish content that is harmful, hateful, harassing, sexual or otherwise unsuitable for the students a course is for;
• put other people's personal information into courses without the right to do so;
• open accounts, courses or records that are not yours, get around access controls, probe, attack or overload the service, or spread malicious software;
• advertise or send unwanted messages.

6. Your content

Teachers own the courses they create (or their school does, if they have agreed so with it). By putting a course on Artifex you give Arbella a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, build, display and deliver it, only as needed to run Artifex for you and for the people you share it with, including showing a public course to anyone. You confirm that you have the rights to do so. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for what must be kept for students' records (see the privacy policy) or by law.

Students' work belongs to the students. They give us the same limited licence, so that we can store it and show it to them, their teachers and their guardians.

The Artifex software and design belong to Arbella and its licensors.

7. Other services

Google sign-in and Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant in Course Studio) are provided by those companies under their own terms. Using Claude needs the teacher's own Claude account. AI output can be wrong: teachers check it before they teach with it.

8. No warranty

We run Artifex with reasonable care and skill, but it is provided "as is", without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, Arbella is not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data, income or profit. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Ending

You may stop using Artifex at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or to protect students or the service, with notice where reasonable. If we stop offering Artifex, we will give reasonable notice so that teachers can keep their courses.

10. Changes and contact

We publish changes on this page with a new effective date and tell users before important changes take effect. Questions, complaints and notices: Arbella, support@khundavid.com. We try to settle any disagreement with you by talking first.

1. 本条款

本条款适用于 Artifex，包括 Artifex Studio 和 Artifex Learn 网站以及 Course Studio 应用。Artifex 由 Arbella（下称"我们"）运营。使用 Artifex 即表示你同意本条款。我们如何处理个人信息，见隐私政策。

2. 早期测试

Artifex 目前处于早期测试阶段。功能可能变化、暂停或停止，也可能出现错误。教师的电脑上保存着其课程的副本；其他对你重要的内容，请自行保留副本。

3. 账户

账户由管理员、学校或教师创建。请提供准确的信息，包括在被询问时提供出生年月。请不要把密码告诉他人；你需要对使用你账户进行的操作负责。如果你认为有人在使用你的账户，请立即告诉我们。

4. 儿童

未满 18 周岁（或当地法律规定的更高年龄）的学生，只有在监护人同意后才能使用 Artifex。学生账户上线后，教师或学校为学生创建账户时，将被要求确认已经得到监护人的同意。

5. 合理使用

请不要利用 Artifex：

• 违反法律或侵犯他人的权利（包括著作权）：只使用你有权使用的材料；
• 发布有害、仇恨、骚扰、色情或其他不适合课程所面向学生的内容；
• 在无权的情况下把他人的个人信息放入课程；
• 打开不属于你的账户、课程或记录，绕过访问控制，探测、攻击服务或使其过载，或传播恶意软件；
• 投放广告或发送不请自来的信息。

6. 你的内容

教师拥有自己创建的课程（如果教师与学校另有约定，则归学校所有）。把课程放到 Artifex 上，即表示你授予 Arbella 一项非独占、全球范围、免版税的许可，仅在为你以及你与之分享的人运行 Artifex 所需的范围内，保存、复制、处理、构建、展示和传送该课程，包括向任何人展示公开课程。你确认自己有权这样做。你删除内容后，该许可即告终止，但为学生的记录（见隐私政策）或依法必须保留的部分除外。

学生的作业属于学生本人。学生授予我们同样有限的许可，以便我们保存这些作业，并向学生本人、其教师和监护人展示。

Artifex 的软件和设计属于 Arbella 及其许可方。

7. 其他服务

Google 登录和 Claude（Course Studio 中 Anthropic 的人工智能助手）由这些公司按其自己的条款提供。使用 Claude 需要教师本人的 Claude 账户。人工智能的输出可能有误：教师在用于教学之前应当加以检查。

8. 不作担保

我们以合理的谨慎和技能运行 Artifex，但它按"现状"提供，我们不承诺它始终可用或没有错误。在法律允许的范围内，Arbella 不对间接损失或数据、收入、利润的损失承担责任。本条款中的任何内容都不限制法律不允许限制的权利或责任。

9. 终止

你可以随时停止使用 Artifex，并要求我们关闭你的账户。对于违反本条款的账户，或为保护学生或服务，我们可以暂停或关闭账户，并在合理的情况下事先通知。如果我们停止提供 Artifex，我们会给予合理的提前通知，以便教师保存自己的课程。

10. 变更与联系

条款变更时，我们会在本页面发布并注明新的生效日期，并在重要变更生效前告知用户。如有问题、投诉或通知，请联系 Arbella：support@khundavid.com。如有任何分歧，我们会先尽力与你协商解决。
